Panathlon International, with headquarters in Rapallo, will host as of Friday 12 and Saturday 13 May 2017, the District Presidents Committee whose works will be held at the Council Room in the Town Hall of Rapallo, beginning at 2:30 p.m. 

Intense work days have been planned ,with a  high cultural and associative value. Every  District President coming from the 4 continents where Panathlon International  is present, will report on the activities carried out as well as future (finalized) projects in order to enhance the expansion of the Panathletic movement in the world , spread the culture of ethical sport, convey to the new generations a reflection  on social values, such as, discipline, respect of the rules,  equal opportunity, fair play and above all fight against  illegalities such as doping and violence. At Office Headquarters  in Villa Quieriolo  the  representatives of the Junior Clubs will meet, specifically made up by  young members who reach the age of 32 years old that will bring their contribution in this context in terms of ideas and suggestions for  Panathlon’s future activities and that of the President’s  Committee.

Concomintanly in a dedicated space/ area in Hotel  Rosabianca  is situated a space namely referred to as “ Salotto dell’antica casa del mare”, (Parlour of the old house on the sea)   will be exhibited the prize winning works of the contests, “ Antwerp University & Panathlon Drawing Contest” and the International  Graphic Arts  contest P.I. Domenico Chiesa“ are as well exposed. Such project stems  in the light  following the agreement stipulated between Panathlon International and the University of  Antwerp signed in 2015. “Antwerp University & Panathlon Drawing Contest”is an  international competition extended to 450 art univerisities and colleges all over the world whose students are invited to create a  fair play drawing in University sports. With this contest/competition the President’s Committee aims to develop a synergy between students of art disciplines and international students/athlets internationally, implementing the first fundamental principle of the Olympic Chart, which states among other things, that Olympism blends sport with culture and education.

The exhibition will be open to the public with the following schedules: 

Friday May 12, 2017 from 2:30 p.u. to 6.30 p.m.

Saturday May 13, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. ti 12.30 p.m.
